TCU – The Attachment Dance:
The attachment relationship between parents and their children is one of the most cherished experiences of our lives. In this video, Dr. Karyn Purvis explores the attachment experiences of neuro-typical children and children with histories of harm. This presentation aims to deepen understanding of attachment issues and provide a solid foundation for parents and their children.
Healthy Touch:
Touch is a universal language – more dynamic and powerful than any other form of communication. Tragically, children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and/or trauma have often lost the ability to trust loving adults. This can greatly impact their ability to experience touch in healthy, appropriate ways. Healthy Touch explores research about touch and provides practical applications for adding healthy touch into our daily lives.
**This qualifies for Group Credit through HHS.
***Note: You need to register each participant and they each need their own email. If you are registering two people, you need two different email addresses. Children are not allowed at this training so please make other arrangements for them.
