Description: Description: Parents understand their youth’s challenging behaviors and are able to safely and effectively manage them. We will demonstrate two skills parents use in coping and managing their own emotions in the face of their youth’s challenging behaviors. We will also demonstrate two ways parents can effectively respond to their youth’s rejecting, testing, and maladaptive behaviors. Describe at least two signs that their relationship with youth is under stress.
