Description: In partnership with Four Oaks foster care, adoption, and kinship support, EyesOpenIowa is excited to offer Linking Families and Teens (LiFT), a family-based program for teens ages 13-19 and their trusted adult(s). For this program, a family means at least one teen and 1 trusted adult, such as a parent, foster parent, caregiver, guardian, family member, or mentor.
Build connections, practice tough conversation tools, explore value and love languages, and gain sexual health knowledge.
Each person attending needs to be registered for their own ticket and must be listed in the registration. Family registrations must include at least one teen and one adult.
This training is free to attend, and every attendee will earn a $50 gift card! This workshop is approved for 5 hours of training credit.
