Participants will become aware of strategies to make children impacted by trauma and loss feel psychologically and physically safe; gain an understanding on how to set up a home to be safe for all household members; and gain an understanding of how the sense
of safety ties to behaviors. Participants will also become more aware of how to set boundaries, show consistency and predictability, and adapt routines and rituals; as well as know how to be attuned to children and understand safety from children’s perspective.
