Description: Parents nurture and promote the well-being of their youth through trauma informed parenting. Parents develop and sustain a healthy and supportive relationship with youth. Parents understand their youth’s challenging behaviors and are able to safely and effectively manage them. During this session we will describe two ways that parents can support youth’s important connections and sense of connectedness, demonstrate the impact of secondary trauma on parenting, and identify the important elements to developing self-care plan.
**This qualifies for Group Credit through HHS (like in-person classes)
***Note: If you are registering two people, you will need to register each person individually with separate emails. You need to be interactive in this virtual training like you would an in-person training. If your children need supervision, we suggest having other supervision for children so you can actively participate in this training as you would an in-person training.
