Description: This READY to Stand Curriculum Healthy Relationships for Foster Caregivers curriculum was developed expressly for foster caregivers to have a clear understanding of healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationships, the grooming process, and how to help the youth in their care understand these concepts, as well as learning how to model healthy relationships and consent at home. It offers detailed information, discussions, tools, and activities to facilitate critical thinking and retention of this important information. Since foster youth are at a higher risk for being abused, it is imperative that foster caregivers understand the realities of abusive relationships and what they can do to minimize risk as well as how to best respond to disclosures of abuse by a foster youth in their care.
**This qualifies for Group Credit through HHS (like in-person classes)
