They will also gain understanding of developmental delays and how to meet children’s developmental needs as well as recognize the unique challenges associated with parenting children from each developmental stage.

Attachment: Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of attachment in parenting both for the children and parents who are fostering or adopting as well as recognize the impact of fractured attachments/lack of attachments on children’s ability to attach. Participants will be able to identify strategies to develop healthy attachment bonds, develop trust and children’s sense of connectedness and belonging; know how to be attuned to children; and recognize and honor children’s primary attachment to their families.

**This qualifies for Group Credit through HHS (like in-person classes)

***Note: If you are registering two people, you will need to register each person individually with separate emails. You need to be interactive in this virtual training like you would an in-person training. If your children need supervision, we suggest having other supervision for children so you can actively participate in this training as you would an in-person training.
