Description: This theme identifies the indicators of sexual abuse and the impact of interrupted sexual development, highlighting the unique challenges associated with parenting children who have been sexually abused. The potential risk factors for children who have experienced sexual trauma including re-victimization, sexual trafficking, and re-enactment behaviors are covered. Effective parenting strategies that can help keep children safe and help them heal from sexual trauma are highlighted.
**This qualifies for Group Credit through HHS (like in-person classes)
***Note: If you are registering two people, you will need to register each person individually with separate emails. You need to be interactive in this virtual training like you would an in-person training. If your children need supervision, we suggest having other supervision for children so you can actively participate in this training as you would an in-person training.
