Description: Adults can do much to promote healthy sexual development in adolescents and decrease the chance of youth developing harmful sexual behaviors. When adults observe youth who have difficulty respecting others’ boundaries, they can learn concrete steps to address it.
Participants will learn how to:
1) Train adults on the opportunity to keep children safe from abuse by learning about the grooming process
2) Train adults to distinguish healthy behaviors from boundary violations and pre-offending behaviors.
3) Train adults to respond to boundary violations by adults and / or youth using role play to practice directly addressing concerning behaviors.
4) Train adults in effective strategies to overcome common barriers to addressing grooming behaviors in other adults and / or youth.
**This qualifies for Group Credit through HHS (like in-person classes)
