Utilizing a family systems approach, participants will learn about the signs and symptoms of substance use disorders, explore the available interventions/treatment options and identify ways to support someone who has been diagnosed with a substance use disorder. Participants will be led through a case study activity that personalizes the process and humanizes the various paths toward recovery. At the conclusion of the training, participants will receive a list of resources of recommended readings, videos, websites, blogs, podcasts, etc. for more in-depth information sorted by topics of interest.
**this qualifies for Group Credit through DHS (like in person classes)
***Note: If you are registering two people, you will need to register each person individually with separate emails. You need to be interactive in this virtual training like you would an in person training. If your children need supervision we suggest having other supervision for children so you can actively participate in this training as you would an in person training.
