This course will help parents and professionals understand children with attachment concerns beyond just viewing these concerns from the diagnosis of Reactive Attachment Disorder. Information presented will include the developmental and relational impact as well as the brain science related to what children attachment concerns have experienced. Participants will learn practical ways to respond to behaviors and incorporate a bottoms up brain based approach to promote effective healing. Discussion will also include effective therapy methods, ways to advocate for your child, insights for building your child/family’s professional team, and educational considerations for planning supports at school.
**this qualifies for Group Credit through DHS (like in person classes)
***Note: If you are registering two people, you will need to register each person individually with separate emails. You need to be interactive in this virtual training like you would an in person training. If your children need supervision we suggest having other supervision for children so you can actively participate in this training as you would an in person training. Any questions please send to gototraining@fouroaks.org.
