Date & Time: Tuesday October 25, 6pm to 8: 00pm
Location: Zion Church 439 3rd Ave. S Clinton
Trainer: Liz Estilow

Description: Connections Matter is a curriculum that explores the little things we can all do each day to build stronger and healthier families and communities. We will highlight how safe and secure relationships support brain development and resilience. The goal of Connections Matter is to help you as a person and community inventory the great things you are already doing and what opportunities you have to form stronger community attachments.
Dr. Linda Chamberlain created Connections Matter for the Iowa ACEs 360 Coalition to create a common language surrounding trauma and building resilience. The Iowa ACEs 360 Coalition is made up of diverse partners from medical care providers, nonprofit organizations working for children and families, the United Way, public health agencies, education agencies, universities, etc. Connections Matter started small but is now available in several states across the United States as a prevention response to adverse childhood experiences.
