You can make a difference in the lives of foster children across Iowa.
Steps to Adult Readiness, or STAR, is a program for licensed foster families to work with juvenile court system clients in foster care to help them with setting goals and preparing for their futures.
STAR families work with the youth, the juvenile court system, the Department of Human Services, birth/adoptive families, and service providers to help youth be successful in achieving set goals and preparing them for adulthood and independence.
