Kaira enjoys drawing, art, writing and reading books. She also loves food, music, wolves and helping other people. She likes to clean and asks for opportunities to help in this manner. She is a very bright young lady. She likes attending school and loves to read. She has a great sense of humor and especially likes to joke around with others. She is very loving and responds well to appropriate physical touch including hugs. Kaira desires to have a positive established relationship. Once this occurs, she will do anything for that caregiving adult.
Kaira’s responses to those who hold her accountable for her choices and actions have also gotten much better. She ultimately can accept feedback and consequences that are given to her. When she receives one on one attention from supportive adults, she is very personable and enjoyable to be around. Kaira is being given support to help her improve in areas of social skills.
She is a good student and is obtaining positive grades. Kaira really likes the one-on-one attention she is receiving in this smaller classroom atmosphere. She does best academically when she is in a smaller class with less distractions. She can focus better with minimal interruptions.
Kaira’s forever family will be one that has the capacity to provide structure, routine, consistency, and supervision. She will do best in a community that offers effective mental health treatment to children including individual and family therapy. Kaira desires a forever family that spends a large amount of quality time together, likes to be outside and active, and is willing to give her a lot of love and support.
