Descriptions:

Co-Regulation: This curriculum will help parents and caregivers learn what co-regulation is and why it’s vital to instruct children about self-regulation through co-regulation. Parents and caregivers will learn why self-regulation is necessary and how co-regulation builds a child’s foundational skills for eventual self-regulation. It’s vital that parents understand why kids who have experienced trauma tend to struggle with self-regulation. With that information, parents will then learn that co-regulation can help them build healthy attachment with their child. Parents and caregivers will also learn how co-regulation works, along with practical ideas for teaching their children self-soothing skills.

Raising Resilient Kids: Resilience is important, especially for kids who have experienced childhood trauma. It’s the key to being able to overcome their early life experiences and thrive. This curriculum looks at what resilience is and explores the two fundamental principles of resilience and the 7 C’s model of resilience. We also provide some concrete tips on how to foster resilience in your children.

**This qualifies for Group Credit through HHS (like in-person classes)

***Note: If you are registering two people, you will need to register each person individually with separate emails. You need to be interactive in this virtual training like you would an in-person training. If your children need supervision, we suggest having other supervision for children so you can actively participate in this training as you would an in-person training.
